The Program is designed to assist principals in their first two years to develop, leadership capabilities in their new roles. The program provides support, mentoring and networking opportunities with other new principals, with whom you can share experiences and find solutions to the issues you confront. The program runs over two years, with four workshops per year and is limited to 15 new principals in their first two years of principalship within the independent sector. Participants can access email and telephone support from the course facilitators and executive coaching.

Practical half-day media training session for school representatives who are the authorised media spokespeople for their school. It can take the mishandling of just one issue, or a pattern of responses to a range of smaller issues, to tarnish a school's reputation. Preparation is the best defence for schools to influence the way they are written about, heard or seen in the media. This session is hosted by two senior ISQ staff with extensive experience in media relations, journalism, communications and issues management.

Teachers will use samples of student work to compare and align their expectations about the standards.
