SEQ School Closures
30 March 2017
Queensland Police have issued safety advice to residents in south-east Queensland this morning regarding the high levels of rain and damaging winds forecast.
In response to this, a number of independent schools in the south-east have already issued advice to parents about closing today, via SMS, facebook, email or phone.
However, parents who are unsure of their school’s operations should contact their school directly.
Where children may already be at a school, there will be support staff in place to ensure the care and safety of those children until parents are able to collect them.
The safety of children, parents and school staff must come first.
