Kindergarten Central Governing Body

The Independent Schools Queensland Central Governing Body (ISQ CGB) provides support and advice to help members deliver quality kindergarten programs. ISQ CGB also administers funding for the Queensland Kindergarten Funding Scheme for member approved sessional kindergarten programs.

ISQ CGB supports 40 sessional kindergartens throughout Queensland.

Apply for ISQ CGB membership

Kindergarten service providers may apply for ISQ CGB membership if they are owned and/or operated by, or have a strong affiliation and recommendation from an Independent Schools Queensland member school, providing they are not approved to receive Commonwealth Child Care Benefit payments on behalf of eligible families.

Before completing the ISQ CGB application form, you should contact ISQ to request the following:

  • ISQ CGB Membership Policy
  • ISQ CGB Financial Assistance & Distribution Policy.

Completed membership applications can be returned to rmckinnon@isq.qld.edu.au.

On approval of a membership application, services will be required to enter into an ISQ CGB Service Agreement.
