ISQ is continuing to support member schools in a range of ways during the COVID-19 pandemic, in line with government health directives. Below are the entry requirements for face-to-face events hosted by ISQ. Please read the below information carefully and ensure to abide by all venue requirements while attending events.

Proof of Vaccination
From 24 December, the Queensland Government requires all people (aged 16 and over) under the Public Health and Social Measures link to vaccination status Direction (No. 2) participating in face-to-face events to be fully vaccinated, this includes all face-to-face events hosted by ISQ at any venue (ISQ Professional Learning Centre, member school or external venue). To gain entry to a venue you will need to supply a Queensland Health approved proof of full vaccination (or approved exemption).

Proof of vaccination or exemption is required upon entry, using one of the following:

  • a COVID-19 Digital Certificate (linked via the Check-In Qld App or otherwise presented on your phone)
  • an Immunisation History Statement which records the COVID-19 vaccination
  • a medical certificate that has been downloaded from the Australian Immunisation Register which states that you are exempted from getting a COVID-19 vaccination
  • an International COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate for overseas travel.

Only those registered attendees who can provide proof of an approved medical exemption from the Australian Immunisation Register will be allowed to enter the venue.

Your COVID-19 Digital Certificate showing you have an exemption can also be attached to your Check-In Qld profile via your Medicare profile through My-Gov.

For more details on medical exemptions, please visit Queensland Health’s website.

A medical certificate that has not been downloaded from the Australian Immunisation Register will not be sufficient to gain entry.

Please visit the Queensland Health website for more information and assistance on proof of vaccination or exemption.

Collection of contact information
ISQ is required to collect contact information, proof of vaccination or evidence of medical contraindication from all staff, guests, and attendees upon entry to a venue. Attendees are requested to check-in using the Check-In Qld app.

Face masks
You must wear a face mask in all indoor settings except for where it's unsafe to do so. For full details and exemptions, please refer to the Public Health Face Mask Requirements Direction (No. 4).

Participants should not enter the premises if:

  • they are deemed a close contact
  • had a fever, cough, sore throat, headache, distorted sense of taste, shortness of breath, chills, vomiting or any cold/flu-like symptoms in the last 72 hours.

While attending professional learning or an event participant should:

  • keep a distance from other people as much as you can
  • wash your hands regularly and use hand sanitiser
  • leave immediately if you start to feel unwell
  • get tested if you develop any COVID-19 symptoms
