COVID -19 Entry Requirements at ISQ Events

ISQ is continuing to support member schools in a range of ways during the COVID-19 pandemic, in line with government health directives. Below are the entry requirements for face-to-face events hosted by ISQ. Please read the below information carefully and ensure to abide by all venue requirements while attending events.

From 14 April, the Queensland Government will no longer require all people (aged 16 and over) to provide proof of vaccination or check into venues. Where an ISQ hosted event is at a school, participants will be informed of the individual schools’ requirements for any proof of vaccination or an approved exemption to enter the school site at the time of registration and in the lead up to the event taking place.

An exemption is considered a medical certificate from the Australian Immunisation Register which states that you are exempted from getting a COVID-19 vaccination.

Be COVID Safe
Participants should not enter the premises if:

  • they are deemed a close contact
  • had a fever, cough, sore throat, headache, distorted sense of taste, shortness of breath, chills, vomiting or any cold/flu-like symptoms in the last 72 hours.

While attending professional learning or an event, participants should:

  • keep a distance from other people as much as you can
  • wash your hands regularly and use hand sanitiser
  • leave immediately if you start to feel unwell
  • get tested if you develop any COVID-19 symptoms.

Queensland Chief Health Officer Public Health Directions can be found here.
