Is the continuing increased funding for schooling achieving results?

The latest Report on Government Services 20221 released by the Productivity Commission highlights the considerable continuing increase in Commonwealth Government funding for Australian schools.

The latest report, which covers the 2019-20 period, highlights a total government recurrent expenditure on school education of $70.6 billion, a 5.9 percent increase on the previous year.
