Independent Schools Queensland (ISQ) provides a suite of professional learning programs, activities and services to member schools, in addition to its full calendar of professional learning events. These tailored, evidence-based programs are designed to ensure member schools remain at the forefront of education innovation, leadership development and continuous whole school improvement.

In 2026, schools will have the opportunity to engage in 17 major professional development programs spanning teaching, leadership, and parent engagement. Each program involves a commitment of one to two years and is tailored to support long-term growth and improvement. We invite schools interested in partnering with ISQ to apply for these programs.

ISQ programs offer a comprehensive range of professional development opportunities for school staff and differ in their processes and styles. For detailed information, please refer to the descriptions on each program page, found in the ISQ Member Hub.
