Having my teacher and my parents very engaged in my education has definitely made me value it.

There is an extensive body of research that demonstrates the benefits of parental engagement in their children’s education, for both students and schools. Despite all of this, rich examples of effective processes are scarce. Griffith University researchers Dr Linda Willis and Prof Beryl Exley worked with six Queensland independent schools to develop practical strategies and approaches at the classroom level.
